Alstrom's Warbler
This vicious, death-spewing hellspawn can use its spittle to kill prey (including the unfortunate birder) at up to 40 meters with serious accuracy. Often confused with other warblers found near the Thai-Malay peninsula environs, the Alstrom is named after its presumed first victim, Percival Alström. Percy took a shot of this nasty avian’s venom on Hong Kong Island near the Morning Trail. Within the eight to ten minutes he knew he had left, he scribbled down a description of the bird, an accompanying sketch, a will that included not fewer than fifty-three items and how to dispose of them, and the combination to a safe containing his most prized taxidermy: an emperor penguin.
Fortunately, none of the above is true. It’s just a warbler. An Alström warbler. They are found in the Thai-Malay peninsula environs. And this one was photographed on the Morning Trail in Hong Kong.
However, not poisonous.
