The ICC and its LEDs

ICC

The ICC and its LEDs loom over Victoria Harbour day and night. When days start this way, I make a point of finding my iPhone and taking a few photos. It's impossible to miss the vertical spike of the International Commerce Centre (ICC) tower across the harbor. At night the ICC fills its volume with white LED across its 108 floors*.

The ICC's LED vortices have animations of clocks, an hourglass, and the phrase "value time" in both English and Chinese. FACEBOOK in big letters looms on the LED facade before more eye-catching patterns repeat. Most useful is the digital clock at the top of the building. 8 pm brings the reminder about the Hong Kong light show.

Along with the M+ Museum, the ICC dominates the Eastern Kowloon landscape.

The clock at night using most recent zoom lens on the iPhone 15. The range (distance and light-gathering) of the new camera on this phone is dramatic.

M+ Museum near the ICC has a ten story high LED screen
A black and white photo of the M+ Museum's color LED display. It's roughly 10 stories high and likely one of the largest in the world.

The M+ Art Museum is near the bottom of the ICC featuring an LED screen that promotes new exhibitions inside. Built a few years ago, the M+ is part of the West Kowloon Cultural Centre.
