Fastidious is he

Fastidious is he
Who wakes in the glade of green
Forests, quivering, unquestioning, and
Hungry for nothing.

He picks ripe papayas and
Passes them in straw baskets to the
Native women of the island.

His dress attire is prepared for the
Evening's banquet and it is black tie.
His mate will be in her usual gown and
He in a white toga with an orchid.

No one there suspects he is not god.
