Blueprints of the Afterlife

Blueprints of the Afterlife
by Ryan Boudinot

New York Alki, a new New York City, is being rebuilt in every detail only set on an Island in Puget Sound. Meanwhile there are quantum jumps, a bionet, a prescient city-destroying glacier, an academy for dropouts of an elite program designed to create and perpetuate a permanent upperclass, meandering musings on ecological devastation following a global war (the era of FUS, as it's know). As I recently finished reading this and am confused by most of it, and still assembling memories of different story lines. I will say I thought it was entertaining, thought-provoking, and well written.
